Are these stained glass window cross stitch patterns good for beginners?

Yes. All 37 are whole cross stitch only, with no backstitch, fractional stitches or french knots, and every chart prints with a symbol in each square.

What size is a finished stained glass window pattern?

Each chart is 130 stitches square: about 9.3 inches on 14-count aida and 7.2 inches on 18-count.

Is this a PDF download or a kit?

A PDF download only, ready the moment you pay. No fabric or floss is posted. The floss key lists every DMC shade and how many skeins to buy.

Stained Glass Cross Stitch Patterns

Stained glass is flat panes of pure colour held apart by dark lines, which is exactly what a counted chart is. On black aida the bare cloth does the work of the lead, so every pane sits directly against it and glows.
